SECOND CLASS IDIOMS

IDIOMS FROM GEOGRAPHY AND TIME

My experience in my second class was awesome too. Also, I did not feel nervous before the class neither during the class.  The topic that I was developed was idioms from time and geography, and as the first class I prepared a lot of material such as visual aids like flashcards, charts; moreover, I made some activities as fill in the blanks, repetition drills etc.

In the class, students and I could create a good rapport to each other, and the best proof was that they showed a big confidence in the way they participated; moreover, I did a warm up as a feedback about the previous class. In addition, another thing that I could realize was the body language is not an essential technique as it is in basic.  As a conclusion, those experiences are going to help me with my future classes.

FIRST CLAS IDIOMS

ADVANCED ENGLISH STUDENTS

This class has been my first experience teaching Advanced English students, and it was awesome because they work a lot; moreover, at the beginning of the class, I thought that work with them will be more difficult than work with Basic English students, but I was totally wrong.  There were some advantages that facilitate my work; for example, I could speak freely without worrying about the vocabulary and the fluency because they understand everything; also, they could express the language in oral and written form. However, I found some challenges about the topic that I had to teach because it was the first time I had to talk about idioms. As a result, I prepared many visual aids in order to explain the topic in the best way.

Another thing that I liked of the class was that we created a good rapport teacher-student because they got accustom to my presence very quickly; moreover, I noticed that students felt comfortable with me because of their attitude toward the class; I can say that they showed a high confidence when they participate in the class. To sum up, my first experience in advanced levels was very useful for me because the methodologies used for teaching advanced levels are totally difference with the methodologies used for teaching basic levels.
